Marge si koupí novou knihu o japonském minimalismu a najednou se cítí inspirovaná. Rozhodne se, že se celá rodina musí zbavit všeho, co už jim doma nedělá radost. Líza vyhodí ze svého pokoje úplně všechno kromě saxofonu a pak si uvědomí, že nesnáší jazz stejně jako ostatní. Ale skutečné potíže nastanou, když musí Homer najít nový domov pro rodinného vepře.
