Na ulici je nalezen mrtvý mariňák. Svědci identifikují jako vraha bývalou snoubenku. Ta je nalezena o několik bloků dál se zakrvácenýma rukama. Případ je jasný. Na místo činu je přivolán Gibbs a jeho tým. Když Ducky ohledává mrtvého, vrhne se na něj arabská žena a pobodá ho. Krátce nato se žena objeví na afgánské ambasádě a obviní Duckyho z třicet let staré vraždy svého bratra. Bylo to v době, kdy působil jako vojenské lékař v uprchlickém táboře.
