Ředitel Vance pověřuje Gibbse, aby z Moskvy přivezl jejich počítačového experta Kevina Husseina, který tam odjel za svým nemocným strýcem. Strýc zemřel a Kevin kvůli podezření, že je sledován, vyhledal útočiště na americké ambasádě. S Gibbsem do Moskvy odjíždí i McGee. Na cestě zpátky je však jejich helikoptéra uprostřed pustiny poblíž finských hranic sestřelena. Gibbs, McGee i Kevin nehodu přežijí a snaží se dostat k finským hranicím. Abby identifikuje raketu, která helikoptéru sestřelila, a Ducky si nechá přivézt tělo Kevinova mrtvého strýce. Při pitvě se zjistí, že strýc byl zastřelen a v jeho těle byla ukryta SD karta. Jedná se o počítačový virus, jenž dokáže deaktivovat obranný systém. Abby vložením SD karty do počítačové sítě NCIS virus spustila.(TV Nova)
