Blíží se Vánoce a v domě na předměstí dojde k vraždě staršího manželského páru. Na místě se najdou otisky bývalého vietnamského veterána Quinna, který má být už sedmnáct let mrtvý. Gibbsův tým ho najde a zadrží. Když se chystají předat podezřelého policii, jelikož vyšetřování spadá do jejich jurisdikce, přemůže Gibbse jeho pověstný instinkt. Je přesvědčený, že Quinn ty vraždy nespáchal. Jedinou možností, jak ho očistit, je najít skutečného vraha. Rozhodne se tedy vrátit na místo činu a spolu s kolegy zahájí vlastní vyšetřování.(TV Nova)
