Nekonvenční tvůrce Mike Judge (Tatík Hill a spol., Maléry pana Šikuly) přichází s třetí řadou na Emmy® a Zlatý Glóbus nominovaného seriálu, který diváky zavádí do Silicon Valley - světa špičkových technologií ovládaného novodobou zlatou horečkou. Děj se soustředí na tým smolařů, který se snaží prorazit a zbohatnout v oblasti, kde se rodí plno velkých nápadů a vyskytuje spousta egoistů. Začátek třetí řady navazuje na šokující závěr předchozí série, kdy se Pied Piper radoval z právního vítězství a Richard byl nečekaně zbaven funkce ředitele společnosti. Richardovi je nabídnut nižší post technického ředitele a zbytek jeho týmu: Erlich, Jared, Dinesh a Gilfoyle čelí otázce kam až sahá jejich loajalita. Zatímco nový ředitel tvrdošíjně prosazuje razantní změny v celém Pied Piperu – kancelářemi počínaje a obchodní agendou konče – chlapci musí najít způsob, jak zvítězit ve válce umění proti komerci a obratně přitom manévrovat mezi řadou soupeřících zájmů. Mezitím se Gavin Belson, který se v Hooli dopustil hrubých chyb, snaží zachránit svou reputaci. Hlavoun navazuje novou spolupráci. Laurie v Ravize jedná s velkou rozvahou. A Monika se rozhodne hájit zájmy Pied Piperu. I v této řadě, prodchnuté typickým absurdním a satirickým humorem, seriál pokračuje ve zkoumání světa nových technologií, v němž je nyní počínání našich hrdinů odvážnější, i když ne vždy chytřejší.(HBO Europe)
