COLOR. Color: “The quality of an object or substance with respect to light reflected by the object, usually determined visually by measurement of hue, saturation, and brightness of the reflected light; saturation or chroma.” A very robotic description of an incredibly dynamic property of the universe. Earth is a varied landscape of extremes of millions of colors. Through the lens of the “Visitor” we experience our mosaic landscape from a sense of imagination and wonder. “Why do these colors exist?” “What properties in nature create the conditions that these colors live in?” Using a scientific and artistic viewpoint we explore environments around the world that display the palette of the Earth.
