Wells Neviditelného, se detektiv William Murdoch opět potkává s vynálezcem a vědcem Nikolou Teslou. Okolnosti setkání jsou i tentokráte drastické. Teslův kolega Julius Bosworth měl být zavražděn, když přišel na kloub fenoménu nepozorovatelnosti.
