Sheppardův tým je poslán na planetu, ze které se jeden z průzkumných týmů dlouho neozval. Když dorazí do místní osady, nikde nikdo - celé místo je kompletně opuštěné. McKay zjistí, že v podzemí města se nachází jedna známka života. Když se Sheppardův tým dostane do podzemí, nalezne tam hromadu lidských těl. Následně je napadne stvoření, které připomíná Eratuského brouka. Když se vzpamatují z útoku, zjistí, že Teyla byla unesena. Teyla se probudí připoutaná v podzemní laboratoři a zjistí, že to vše má na svědomí Wraith, se kterým se již setkali.(Varan)

Poté, co se Atlantida potopila, omezila trochu sílu paprsku a odletěla do hyperprostoru. Jenže když vystoupí z hyperprostoru, dostane se neznámo kam. McKay a Zelenka zjistí, že hodně rychle klesá výdrž štítu. Proto jsou nuceni vypnout nepotřebné systémy a zároveň musí i zmenšit štít. McKay a Zelenka musí najít řešení, než přestane fungovat i samotný štít.(Varan)
