Země chce kontaktovat Atlantidu, ale zjistí, že když Atlantida zadá kombinaci brány na cestu na Zem, vybouchne. Když se Atlantida pokusí o kontakt se Zemí, Rodney ihned, jakmile odhalí hrozící výbuch, zastaví zadávání symbolů. Problém je v tom, že i když bomba nevybouchla, systém Atlantidy začal vysílat nouzové signály, které přilákaly dvě wraithské lodě. Nouzový signál musí být vypnut dříve, než přiláká další lodě.(Varan)
