Roe zastrelí v naháňačke Davida Jacobsa, podozrivého z vraždy miestneho drogového dílera. Hoci Roe tvrdí, že David na neho vytiahol zbraň, na mieste činu sa nič nenájde. Oddelenie teda musí začať vyšetrovanie streľbu. Na oddelenie zatiaľ príde Davidov otec – Clay Jacobs a chce hovoriť s policajtom čo zabil jeho syna.
