To samozřejmě neznamená, že se naši hrdinové nikdy neocitnou v opravdovém nebezpečí – jenom mají vždycky dost štěstí a možností, aby se z prekérních situací vysekali. Geronimovi pomáhají překonávat překážky jeho příbuzní a kamarádi, a když je třeba, pomohou mu i v pátrání. Společně každý případ zdárně vyřeší. Občas se sice trochu poškorpí, což má často za následek humorné scény, ale nakonec se vždycky smíří, vždyť se mají navzájem upřímně rádi.
